My training as a voice actor began while I watched hours of cartoons every Saturday morning. I didn't realize it then, of course, but the greats of animation voiceover like Mel Blanc, Daws Butler and Paul Frees would have a profound affect on my emotional well-being (read: craziness) as I grew up.
After that, I would "practice" by taking soap operas recorded on the family VCR by my Mom and older sister, and, much to their chagrin, use the old VCR's Audio Dub feature to, ahem, enhance the dialog of those TV shows.
Much more recently, I studied & worked with people like Kathy Keyes Bosco and Glenn Haines to help turn making-fun-of-TV-shows into something more marketable. For the past few years, I've had the pleasure of working on radio & TV commercials, independant films, corporate presentations and web-based games for clients of all sizes.
From my office / audition studio, I can record broadcast-quality auditions for your project and send them to you via MP3. So why should you hire me? Well, first and foremost, I'm professional and responsible. That means I show up and deliver on time. Plus, I've been told I take direction really well. My clients also like the fact that I "get" scripts pretty well right off the bat, which means I often deliver the perfect read in just one or two takes. I also know that sometimes a project is a little more fluid and direction can change during the course of a session. So when you hire me, I'm there to give you exactly what you're looking for, and that means I'm not done until you're happy.
I hope to work with you and add a great voiceover performance to your project!
